“My love and passion for the water started at a young age. I grew up in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii where kayaking, surfing, and diving was a part of my daily life. My adventure tour guiding experience started while going to college in East Tennessee. I guided white water rafting tours on the Pigeon River in Gatlinburg TN. It was here my love for being a tour guide was born!
I moved home to Hawaii after college and further expanded my guide experience. My kayak career eventually brought me to Australia where I had the unbelievable opportunity to guide tours in Queensland, Tasmania, and Southern Australia. The winds of life eventually brought me to the beautiful Apostle Islands. It was during my first kayak adventure on the south shore of Lake Superior I knew I wanted to put my roots down here and start South Shore Adventures!”
